Scholarship Program Overview

PayrollOrg (formerly the American Payroll Association) awardsGraduation cap on diploma scholarships twice each year, with opportunities to apply in the spring and fall.

Each scholarship cycle includes:

  • One (1) $5,000 scholarship
  • Two (2) $1,000 scholarships

The program is open to high school juniors, seniors, and individuals pursuing or planning to pursue higher education or continuing education.

To apply, submit either:

  • An essay (1,000 words or less), or
  • A 1-2 minute video

Applicants should answer the following question: Why does understanding your paycheck matter, and how can it help set you up for a stronger financial future? Feel free to include personal examples.

Spring Scholarship – The Spring Scholarship application period has closed. Thank you to everyone who applied!

Fall Scholarship The Fall Scholarship application opens in August, with submissions due October 16. Please check back in August for application details and your chance to compete for one of this year’s scholarships.
